Jesus is the center of our life and faith.
You should first be concerned with God’s kingdom and God’s righteousness, then everything else will be added to you. (Mt 6:33)
We want him to be king over every aspect of our life.
Everything you do and what you say should show that you belong to Jesus the Lord. (Col 3:17)
That is why we make him the focus of our thoughts and actions.
May Christ be glorified in my body, be it through life or through death. Because Christ is my life and dying is my gain. (Phil 1:20-21)
Our goal is to know him and thus to be able to become more and more like him because I have given you an example that you too do as I did to you. (John 13:15)
But that is eternal life, that they recognize you, the only true God, and whom you have sent, Jesus Christ. (John 17:3)
We believe that only through Jesus we can see how God really is.
He is the reflection of God’s glory and the exact imprint of God’s very being, and he sustains all things by his powerful word. (Heb 1:3)
The Son is the image of the invisible God, (Col 1:15)
We want to make Jesus known everywhere emphasizing the importance of the cross.
Because I resolved to know nothing else among you than only Jesus Christ, and him as crucified. (1 Cor 2:2)
We want to learn from Jesus to love people with his selfless love.
This is my commandment: you should love one another as I loved you. Nobody loves more than someone who sacrifices his life for his friends. (John 15:12-13)
Your whole life should be determined by love. Remember how Christ loved us and gave his life for us as an offering that God was pleased with. (Eph 5:2)
We want to make disciples as he made disciples.
Therefore go to all peoples and make disciples. (Mt 28:19)
We want to remain in him and grow in hearing his voice.
Whoever remains in me and I in him will bring much fruit. Because apart from me you cannot do anything. (John 15:5)
My sheep listen to me. I know them and they follow me. (John 10:27)
We have experienced him as the healer of our broken hearts, have seen how his truth has made us free and we want to pass this freedom on.
The Spirit of God the Lord rests on me, for the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal those who have broken hearts and to proclaim that the prisoners will be released and those who are bound will be set free. (Isaiah 61:1)
We proclaim that Jesus is king, that he will reign with God forever, and that one day God will be all in all.
Now [Jesus] is appointed as ruler over every worldly government, authority, power and rule and everything else, in this world as in the world to come. God has placed everything under the rule of Christ and has established Christ as Lord over the church. (Eph 1:21-22)
When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to the one who put all things in subjection under him, so that God may be all in all. (1 Cor 15:28)
In order to love God with all our heart, soul and mind, we believe that we have to rethink (reform) our beliefs, our worldview, and adapt to the teaching and example of Jesus.
Do not conform to the standards of this world. Rather, allow yourself to be transformed by God so that all your thinking may be renewed. Then you can form a sure judgment of which behavior corresponds to the will of God, and know in each individual case what is good and God-pleasing and perfect. (Rom. 12:2)
